Data Titan is an Arizona-based software, mobile application, and artificial intelligence development firm founded in 2004. Data Titan's planning methodology is supported by Scope Arc, our proprietary application architecture framework for organizing complex software systems into defined modules, workflows, user roles, data structures, and development requirements.

For larger initiatives, this architecture is formalized within a Master Scope Document, or MSD. The MSD serves as the project’s authoritative blueprint, defining system architecture, technical framework, user interaction, data movement, operational rules, and functional expectations before development begins.

This disciplined approach enables business owners and stakeholders to make informed decisions before significant capital is committed to programming.

As artificial intelligence (AI), large language models, and automation become increasingly more embedded in modern business systems, Data Titan has expanded its service offerings to include AI application design, development, training, and LLM integration.

Our development team and partners are authorized, certified AI architects with both Anthropic and OpenAI, and every AI/LLM project must complete and pass a rigorous stack of architectural requirements before coding work begins.

Data Titan is led by John Tomblin, President and Founder, whose background spans more than three decades in software development, along with founding more than a dozen companies in publishing, restaurant hospitality, real estate, technology, education, and automotive services.

Before founding Data Titan, John served as Regional IT Director for Fidelity National Financial (NYSE-FNF), overseeing IT operations and software initiatives supporting hundreds of branches nationwide. His experience as both a technologist, published author and business owner provides his customers with practical guidance on how software supports real-world business operations, revenue models, and long-term, sustainable,  organizational growth.
